BEST WESTERN HOTELS ASK... HAS EDINBURGH GOT PERSONALITY?

In celebration of talent and personality, Best Western is searching the Edinburgh area for people who have a unique or outstanding talent to take part in an exclusive roadshow in the city centre on 18 April 2010.
The Britain's Got Personality roadshow is touring the UK to celebrate the best of British talent this Spring.
Contestants are being given the opportunity to perform their talent on stage in St James's Shopping Centre in this perfect chance to get 15 minutes of fame. All talents are encouraged from ballet dancers to belly dancers, opera singers to origami demonstrations. The roadshow aims reflects the Best Western ideal of independently owned hotels offering more personality and character than chain hotels, by celebrating the diversity of British personality.
To enter and check out the competition, simply visit www.hotelswithpersonality.com and fill in the form online. You can also upload a video of you performing if you like so we can see what you can do.
Tim Wade, head of marketing, said: "We are looking forward to welcoming a wide variety of acts onto our stage. Everyone can take part, whether experienced in performing or not and all talents whether big or small will be cheered on stage. The recent explosion of TV talent shows in recent years has shown that we are a multi-talented nation that, like our hotels, is full of personality which we look forward to celebrating this with everyone in Edinburgh."
The Britain's Got Personality road show will travel the length and breadth of the UK culminating in a final show in the home of performance art, Covent Garden in London on 1 May 2010. A winner will be chosen from each event and then the public will be given the chance to choose their favourite online. Regional winners will receive a weekend away courtesy of Best Western and the overall winner will get a years contract with an agent.
