The Edinburgh City Region has big ambitions. We wish to build on our position as a major international region by continuously improving our ability to attract global investment and tourism. Despite vigorous competition, we are determined to become not just world class, but truly world leading. But what does this really mean in practice?
This conference is designed to explore what being a world leader means to the Edinburgh City Region. What are the pre-requisites? How far have we come and where are we going? What does it mean in terms of investment and productivity and how do we achieve growth in a sustainable way?
