The 2010 Race for Life event is returning to Edinburgh on Sunday 13th June at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh and also at Hopetoun House on Sunday 9th May. Cancer Research UK's Race for Life 2010, is the UK's largest women only fundraising event where thousands of women all round the country come together to share amazing moments and simply walk, jog or run 5k to raise money to help beat cancer. The Edinburgh event in 2009 held at Holyrood Park saw almost 8000 women come together and raise a fantastic £527,000 for the charity.
This year Cancer Research UK hopes to see the women of the Edinburgh region smash the target of 8000 participants. You can walk, jog or run the 5km or a new 10k route, on 13th of June at 11.00am and the charity hopes to raise almost £500,000 at this event alone.
Race for Life is the UK's largest women only fundraising event where all the money raised goes to funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work.
