Venue Description

Napier University operates across a number of campuses in the city, all of which have premises available for external hiring and use of different kinds, offering an extraordinary variety of spaces, and it welcomes enquiries for all of them. It does focus its main events, conferences and functions service on 3 sites, its Merchiston, Craighouse and Craiglockhart campuses. Craighouse, with some spectacular views across Edinburgh, offers a range of characterful spaces within an attractive Victorian building, featuring the Turmeau Grand Hall. Merchiston is a more modern campus.

Area/Location Description

Napier University's campuses are mainly to the south-west of the city centre. Merchiston is a modern campus closest to the cuty centre, Craighouse stands on a hillside close to Morningside and Craiglockhart is furthest out, close to Colinton village. All have good access to the city centre and Haymarket and Waverley Stations, and are within 5 miles or so of Edinburgh Airport.
