The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is set in beautiful parkland grounds on Belford Road in a handsome neo-classical building. The contemporary interior and bright spacious rooms house Scotland's finest collection of 20th century art, including works by Picasso, Matisse, Warhol, Hirst and Hockney.  For evening cocktail receptions and private views, the Gallery of Modern Art offers guests the opportunity to enjoy champagne and canapes whilst surrounded by some of the most innovative and cutting-edge works of art.  We can accommodate up to 250 for a cocktail reception and up to 80 for a dinner. The grounds of the Gallery of Modern Art are one of the most central marquee sites available in Edinburgh. A marquee for a banquet or champagne reception is an unbeatable opportunity to entertain guests under the stars, illuminated by the beautifully lit gallery and grounds.
