The Lady Victoria Colliery - the last remaining colliery in Scotland and one of the finest industrial monuments in Europe - is home to the Scottish Mining Museum, the national coal mining museum for Scotland.The Scottish Mining Museum has an excellent licensed business and function facility - The Old Power House. It offers a truly unique venue for any event and can offer a truly unique experience in the form of optional specially tailored tours/ghost tours for your guests.
The elegant Power House is particularly strong in character, featuring an impressive 18th-century beam engine and large Victorian windows.
