Venue Description
Opened in Summer 2008, Dovecot provides Edinburgh with a dynamic new arts centre to showcase contemporary tapestry, alongside high quality art and design from Scotland and beyond.
Occupying the former Infirmary Street Baths, the building underwent a dramatic renovation and is now home to Dovecot Studios, a specialist contemporary tapestry weaving studio with its own viewing and exhibition gallery as well as three contemporary gallery and events spaces.
For events, Dovecot offers a dramatic setting combining heritage, culture and modern design. The Dovecot Weavers working studio gives the venue a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere, unique to Edinburgh.
