Venue Description

Dundas Castle is a private home and luxurious five star venue which can be ‘Exclusively Yours’ for an event. Only twenty minutes from Edinburgh city centre and 15 minutes from the capital’s airport, yet hidden deep in the 1000-acre estate, Dundas Castle offers the perfect retreat from the pressures of everyday life. Dundas Castle accommodates a wide range of events, conferences, corporate and private functions in the castle and in the grounds. The castle buildings include the Great Hall in the Auld Keep for up to 70 people, the Georgian Croquet Room within the main house for up to 60 for a meeting or dinner, the medieval Stag Chamber for a banquet for 24 people and the purpose built Beehive Boardroom for up to 18. There is a Pavilion Marquee for larger events for up to 200 and outdoor activities on the estate including 4x4 driving, quad biking, mini-highland games, abseiling and archery. There is also a 9-hole private golf course. The Castle has 14 luxurious, individually created bedrooms each with their own views across the estate and picturesque courtyard.

Dundas Castle is close to South Queensferry, 8 miles north-west of Edinburgh city centre, off the A90 Forth Road Bridge, just south of the bridge, and 10 minutes from Edinburgh International Airport.
