Event Details

The Bank of Scotland Children's International Theatre Festival is the UK's largest performing arts festival for children and young people. It aims to provide children with regular access to a diverse range of high quality performing arts activity from home and abroad.

Every year in the Spring, the Festival presents around 15 productions by UK and international companies which attract audiences of over 15,000. Children and young people up to the age of 18, along with their families and teachers have the opportunity to see the best children's theatre the world has to offer. The programme offers a range of events to stimulate young children with dance, musical activities and visual effects.

After performing in Edinburgh, the Festival takes to the road and tours throughout Scotland.
