Now in its ninth year, Ceilidh Culture is a great opportunity to get involved with the traditional arts, whether it be music, song, dance or storytelling – right here in the heart of Scotland’s capital city.

Ceilidh Culture brings together a large number of contributors from all over Edinburgh and beyond, for a real celebration of all that is wonderful about the grassroots traditional arts in Scotland. With more than 30 contributing organisations, Ceilidh Culture proudly showcases local talent alongside international acts.

Whether you’re familiar with the traditional arts or are reaching out and experiencing what they have to offer for the first time there is something for everyone to enjoy, from family friendly workshops and concerts to late night gigs and award winning folk clubs. To get everyone moving there are also some great ceilidhs led by some of the best ceilidh bands around, complete with introductions to dances for those who may be unsure of how to go!

Following on from last years success, the street fair returns for Easter weekend (22 – 25 April) with a bonanza of stalls with food and drink, crafts, fashion and music, all celebrating the very best of Scotland.
