The Edinburgh International Festival presents a rich programme of classical music, theatre, opera and dance in major theatres, concert halls and a number of smaller venues, over a three-week period in late summer each year.

Festival 2012 is packed full of thrilling drama from some of the world's greatest directors, scintillating classical and contemporary dance, world-class opera from across the UK and beyond, and beautiful music from a whole host of international conductors, orchestras and soloists.
