Welcome to "Auld Reekie", the home of the Rat Race. Edinburgh has it all: It's got sea, sand, cliffs and hills, alongside a spectacular built architecture all of its own.

Taking adventure sports right into the streets, waterways and urban jungle of the World's coolest cities, the Rat Race is an adventure event in which teams of three and pairs race in a multi-disciplined challenge of navigation, endurance, skills and guts. They will run, climb, mountain bike, kayak, abseil and navigate their way around a course that's only revealed hours before they begin. The Rat Race Urban Adventure is designed to be extreme fun for all levels from newcomers to elite adventure racers.
