Take part in a fantastic family walk in Edinburgh's stunning Royal Botanic Garden and learn about healthy eating and active lifestyles from Marco the Monkey and the WeeWalks Characters!

Participants can choose to participate in a one or three mile walk around 'WeeWalks World', meeting the WeeWalks Characters and collecting healthy snacks from them along the way.  Every child receives a healthy eating chart to follow in the build up to the event, a cotton WeeWalks Healthy Goody Bag and a special medal to celebrate their achievement. 

Children will also learn how by raising funds for WildHearts (by eating their 5 A Day in the run up to their WeeWalk) they can help the poor and make a difference in the world.  WildHearts is a unique Scottish charity that tackles global poverty by providing micro-loans and business training to the poor in developing countries, enabling them to work their own way out of poverty and transform their families lives.  At the WeeWalk each child will receive an info pack which will bring WildHearts' work to life and explain how their efforts have helped other families and children.  All WeeWalkers who reach the suggested sponsorship target will be able to join the 'WeeHeroes' club and receive a special certificate, stickers and a WeeHero badge.

Entry to the WeeWalk is open to children aged 0-12.   Registration is £10 which includes one free adult place!
