Installation based artists Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme work on this collaboration with music composer and MC boikutt, combining their different practices and interests in a joint performance, using sound, music, image and text. The performance at the Tent Gallery will be specially commissioned in response to The Spacemakers, a group exhibition, which explore artistic perspectives on the immediate challenges of creating a home in some of today's most diverse and harried urban areas, featuring Taysir Batniji, decolonizing.ps (Alessandro Petti, Sandi Hilal, Eyal Weizman), Jawad al Malhi. Films and videos by Nikolaj Bendix, Hala Elkoussy, mounir fatmi, Bouchra Khalil, Judy Price, Basma Sharif and Solmaz Shahbazi.
