Event Details

The 2012 Edinburgh International Book Festival will run from 11 to 27 August. Details of the programme will be announced on Thurs 21 June and tickets will be available from Friday 29 June.

Small events, large events, events for adults, for babies, children and teens - the Edinburgh International Book Festival offers something for just about every age and every interest, bringing readers and writers together for entertainment, discussion and pure inspiration. The Festival annually welcomes over 800 authors in over 750 events including novelists, poets, scientists, philosophers, sportsmen, illustrators, graphic artists, historians, musicians, biographers, environmentalists, economists, Nobel and Booker prize-winners and many more besides, bringing readers and writers together for entertainment, discussion and pure inspiration.
